We're moving! We've found a nice two bedroom apartment here in Manchester and will be moving in 18th March. Our new address will be Apartment 73, Quartz Building, 7 Stanley Street, SALFORD, M3 5EX.
There's a spare bedroom so anyone visiting Manchester is welcome to stay. Also, we're often away weekends so the whole place will be available.
The Queen was in residence but was too busy watching the weekend Eastenders omnibus to have us in for a cuppa.

We're moving into our new apartment next weekend so on Saturday we did a full day at the malls and IKEA to buy duvets, pillows, towels, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans and all the rest. It was actually kinda fun.
Travelling around Scandinavia the default bedding is a king-size bed with two single duvets which eliminates midnight thievery and allows you to have the thickness you prefer. We've decided to give that a go here although I think Sally is convinced this is the beginning of the end.
The place we're moving to is a new build and nicely designed but the people running it are pretty incompetent. Lots of organisations we come across are incompetent. My motto these days is "Strive for OK" to be above average.

We've moved in to our lovely new 9th floor apartment!
The beginning of the end according to Sally. The beginning of the end of duvet thievery according to me.

We've had our first visitor to the new apartment. Kate stopped over for the night on her way from Edinburgh wool things to Estonian wool things.
I forgot to post this up last weekend. We took the train down to Chester where we caught up with Andy and Melissa and drove out to Moel Famau which is in North Wales for a rare sunny day walk.
Motley seems to be the Banksy of Manchester.

Today felt like the first proper day of summer. We cycled a 30km round trip along the canal towpath to Altrincham and the markets there. Lots of people out and about. A nice change.
